This is my hubby’s fave dish, but I’m often in a crunch and have no time for anything fancy. This recipe is like a cheat code

Ingredients:

2 pounds lean ground beef

2 cans (10.5 ounces each) condensed cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3/4 cup water

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1 packet dry au jus mix

For a lower-sodium version, opt for reduced-sodium soup and half the seasoning packets.

For mushroom lovers, try our version with mushroom gravy.

Instructions:

Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, and onion soup mix in a bowl. Shape into 8 oval patties.

Coat each patty in flour.

Brown patties in a skillet with oil, then place in the slow cooker.

Mix cream of chicken soup, au jus mix, and water. Pour over patties in the slow cooker.

Cook on low for 4-5 hours until patties are tender.

Serve these succulent Salisbury Steak patties with their creamy gravy from the slow cooker for a comforting, flavorful meal. This dish is ideal for busy nights or when you crave a satisfying meal with little fuss. Complete your dinner with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, and crusty bread for a fulfilling, cozy experience.”
