Is the soleplate of your iron sticking? Apply acetone-free nail polish remover if the iron is not too clogged. Then wipe with a damp cloth.
If your iron is clogged, do not hesitate to apply nail polish remover with acetone.
4 – WITH DEMINERALISED WATER
If your iron or steam generator is scaled, simply clean its vaporization chamber as regularly as possible with demineralized water. It is this descaling that will keep your iron or steam generator in good working order.
In fact, a scaled appliance irons much less well and risks causing dark stains on your laundry.
To improve the performance of your tool and to prevent it from damaging your most beautiful clothes, it is important to regularly self-clean its water tank.
To carry out effective descaling, fill the tank of your iron or steam generator as much as possible without adding anything, and especially not white vinegar which would be too stripping. If the water is too hard, you can mix it half with demineralized water.
