My daughter-in-law gifted me this loaf and my hubby went nuts over it. It’s addicting to say the least

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Mix in the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually blend it into the wet ingredients, then gently fold in the mashed bananas.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool on a wire rack.

For the salted caramel sauce, melt the salted butter in a saucepan. Add the brown sugar, heavy cream, and salt, stirring well. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

Drizzle the cooled caramel sauce over the banana bread before serving.

Salted Caramel Banana Bread is a delightful treat, perfect for any time of day, whether as a heartwarming breakfast or a decadent dessert. This recipe is sure to become a cherished favorite, so get ready to bake and savor every delicious bite!
