3 Technique to Recognize if an Egg is Fresh or Rotten

Once expired, eggs smell very bad and become unfit for consumption. However, it is difficult to know when you can no longer eat them. Indeed, the use-by date (DLC) or expiry date are certainly a valuable indication.

1 – THE SMELL TEST TO KNOW IF AN EGG IS STILL GOOD

This method is a classic and requires no equipment other than a nose that can smell odors (a technique that is not effective on a blocked nose day). Smell the egg for the characteristic sulfur smell of rotten eggs. If you don’t feel anything, it means there is no risk. It can be eaten!
