It doesn’t get much better than bread! Cinnamon rolls are pretty much the perfect food. By adding bacon to cinnamon and maple rolls in cream cheese frosting, you add a little crunch to desserts and make something already delicious even better!
I think I’ve proven over the years that I love maple bacon recipes. These cinnamon rolls are the newest and honestly probably my all-time favorite!
I’m one of those people who like to add syrup to my sausage, so it’s really no surprise that maple bacon and cinnamon rolls are my all-time favorite breakfast foods!
Soft, sweet cinnamon rolls with crunchy, salty bacon cubes topped with maple cheese frosting – my mouth waters just thinking about them!
* Ingredients
+ rolls
° 1 1/2 c. milk
° 1/2 c. Warm water (100 degrees to 110 degrees Fahrenheit)
° 2 sachets of Fleischmann’s®️ Active Dry Yeast
° 1/2 c. Sugar
° 1/4 c. butter
° 3 eggs
° 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
° 6 to 6-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
° Candide Bacon
° 1/2 c. Brown sugar
° 1 pound of bacon
° 1/2 c. Brown sugar
+Filling
° 1/8 teaspoon Spice Islands®️ ground cloves
° 1/4 teaspoon salt
° 1 c. Brown sugar
° 2 teaspoons Spice Islands®️ ground cinnamon
° 1 pound of bacon
° 2 teaspoons butter
+Frost
° 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
° 3 c. soft sugar
° 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
