Shaping the Bread
Roll out each portion of dough to the desired size and thickness.
Place the rolled-out dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Use a sushi stick to make a few holes in each piece of dough, then fill the holes with small pieces of hard cheese.
Adding the Final Touches
In a small bowl, whisk together 1 egg and 2 teaspoons of milk.
Brush the surface of the dough with the egg mixture to give it a beautiful golden finish.
Baking
Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and bake the bread for 25-30 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
