Million Dollar Chicken Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or a light coat of oil.
Combine Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded or diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble in Dish:
Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, ensuring an even layer.
Prepare Topping:
In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter until the crackers are evenly coated.
Add Topping:
Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the top of the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
