Ingredients For lovely cinnamon buns
1 c milk
1 egg beaten
1/4 c butter
1/2 c granulated white
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 1/2 Tbsp yeast (yes tablespoon)
CINNAMON SUGAR
1 c brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1/4 c softened butter
ICING
1 c icing sugar
1 – 1 1/2 water
1 tsp vanilla extract.

We started by adding 1 1/2 cups of flour and gradually added more using the entire 3 1/2 cups.
1.Warm milk, sugar, salt, and butter in a pan.
2.Cool between 100 – 110 degrees. Add yeast and allow it to dissolve and bloom.
3.Add beaten egg.
4.In a KitchenAid mixer (dough hook) or by hand, stir in 1 1/2 cups of the flour to liquid. Continue adding a little at a time until a soft non-sticky dough forms. Knead on setting 3 or 4 for about 5 minutes, or knead by hand until a soft dough ball forms.
5.Put the dough ball into an oiled bowl and cover it with a damp towel. Place in a cold oven for 1 hour to rise.
6.Punch down and roll out dough to about 1/2 inch thick into a 9×12 rectangle.
