In a small saucepan, combine the water, granulated sugar, and lemon juice.
Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
Make the Mascarpone Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone cheese, then stir in the lemon zest until well combined.
Assemble the Tiramisu:
Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled lemon syrup, coating them lightly without soaking.
Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone filling over the ladyfingers.
Spoon half of the lemon curd over the mascarpone layer.
Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone filling, and lemon curd.
