Directions:
Prepare the Cheese Sticks: Unwrap the mozzarella string cheese sticks and cut each one in half, giving you 24 pieces. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for about 30 minutes. This will help them hold their shape during frying.
Set Up the Breading Station: In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third.
Bread the Cheese Sticks: Take each frozen mozzarella stick and coat it in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, then coat it thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture. For an extra crispy coating, you can repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps.
Freeze Again: Place the breaded cheese sticks back on the baking sheet and freeze for an additional 15-20 minutes. This ensures the coating adheres well during frying.
