Garlic Parmesan Chicken Gyros with Tzatziki Sauce


Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken strips and coat well. Let marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce:
In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken strips and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Gyros:
Warm the pita breads in a dry skillet or microwave. Layer each pita with shredded lettuce, cooked chicken, diced tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese (if using).
Add Tzatziki:
Drizzle the tzatziki sauce over the top of each gyro.
