•1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
•1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
•1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
•Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1.Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
2.Marinate the Steak: Place the flank steak in a large resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, making sure it’s well-coated. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
3.Preheat the Grill or Skillet: Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates if grilling or add a bit of oil to the skillet if cooking on the stove.
4.Cook the Steak: Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Grill or sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
5.Rest the Steak: Transfer the cooked steak to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes. This helps retain its juices.
6.Slice and Serve: Slice the steak thinly against the grain, which helps keep it tender. Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
