Ingredients
1 refrigerated pie crust round
2 cups pecan halves
12 oz jar hot fudge
3 eggs
⅓ cup brown sugar
`¼ cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup mini chocolate chips
Whipped cream for serving
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and fit the pie crust dough into a standard pie pan.
Spoon the hot fudge into a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds to soften.
Add the brown sugar, heavy cream, eggs, vanilla and salt to the bowl and whisk to combine.
Fold in the pecans and chocolate chips, then transfer mixture to the prepared pie dish.
Bake for 30 minutes and then cover with foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until the middle has set.
Let the pie fully cool before slicing.
