Easy 1-Ingredient Homemade Peanut Butter

Recipe Ingredients:

18 ounces (500 grams) of unsalted roasted peanuts
Instructions:

If the peanuts are not roasted, spread them on a baking sheet and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are lightly golden and aromatic.

Place the roasted peanuts in a food processor. Turn the processor on and let the peanuts grind. Initially, they will become a coarse meal. Continue processing, scraping down the sides of the processor as needed.

As the peanuts process, they will start to release their natural oils and the mixture will turn into a creamy paste. This can take between 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the power of your processor.

Transfer the peanut butter to a clean, dry glass jar with a lid. Store it in the refrigerator for longer shelf life.

Tips and Suggestions:
If you prefer sweeter peanut butter, you can add some honey or sugar to taste during processing.
For saltier peanut butter, add a pinch of salt.
If you prefer a crunchier texture, reserve a handful of chopped peanuts and mix them into the paste at the end of processing.
