360 gr. Walnuts (with shells)
200 gr. edeNuts (without shells)
c/n of Water
3 tbsp. of honey
120 gr. dark chocolate
120 gr. white chocolate
2 tbsp. grated coconut
Preparation mode
First of all, we place the walnuts in a small pot with water and boil them for about 10 minutes.
When the time is up, we remove them from the pot and begin to break the shells and keep the inside. We will only reserve about 6 walnuts for decoration.
Next step, once we have them all peeled we are going to take a rather wide-edged knife to start chopping all the nuts. It is actually a manual way of grinding them well.
Once we have them all chopped, we pour them into a bowl and add the tablespoons of grated coconut and honey. Next we mix everything and if we want we can use gloves to work better when stirring the ingredients.
When we have everything well mixed, start giving it small round shapes, that is, similar to sandwiches. We reserve.
On the other hand, we put a pot in a bain-marie and inside it a small glass container to add the white chocolate to melt. We reserve.
Next, we choose a silicone mold and lightly oil it with the help of a brush.
When the melted chocolate has cooled, we transfer it to a piping bag and place a layer in each individual silicone mold that will serve as the base of the dessert.
Next step, we place each walnut and honey bite that we reserved. Then, we press a little to join together and let it harden a little.
Next we melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie, but we cut it into pieces so that it cooks faster.
Once again, we pour the melted dark chocolate into the sleeve and cover each bite on top. Remember, form a generous layer to the top of the mold.
