Decadent Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream


1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
For Serving:
Vanilla ice cream
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Fresh berries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour or cocoa powder to prevent sticking.
Melt the Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Mix the Batter:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar until well combined and slightly frothy.
Stir in the melted chocolate mixture, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
Fill the Ramekins:
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling them about 2/3 full.
Bake:
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
