Combine the Ingredients: Reduce the heat to low. Add the cooked onions and peppers back to the skillet with the steak. Layer the provolone cheese (or Cheez Whiz) over the meat mixture and let it melt.
Toast the Rolls: If desired, lightly toast the hoagie rolls in the oven or on a skillet.
