4 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, white, or whole grain work well)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup shredded cheese (a mix of cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan)
1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional, for extra creaminess)
Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped, for garnish
