Cheesy Broccoli Bake


– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
– 2 tablespoons olive oil (for greasing)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
– Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
2. Prepare the Broccoli:
– Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
– Add the broccoli florets and blanch for about 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
– Drain and immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Drain again and set aside.
3. Make the Cheese Mixture:
– In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
– Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
– Fold in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, reserving a small amount of cheese for topping.
4. Combine Broccoli and Cheese Mixture:
– Add the blanched broccoli to the cheese mixture and gently fold until the broccoli is well coated.
