You can really add any of your favorite burger toppings to this recipe.
-
I used white american and colby jack cheese, but you can really use any cheese you like.
-
Serve this with a salad, fries, potato salad, or chips!
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- Kinder’s Caramelized Onion Seasoning (any burger seasoning will work)
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder
- White American cheese slices
- Colby Jack Cheese slices
- Pickles
- Thousand Island Dressing or homemade burger sauce 1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/8 cup mustard, 1 TBSP sweet relish
- 2 TBSP of melted butter
- Sesame seeds
- 1 package (12 count) King’s Hawaiian Rolls
Instructions
-
Cook your ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat with a chopped onion.
-
Season the beef with a little bit of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Kinder’s Caramelized Onion seasoning and let cook until browned.
-
Drain any extra grease from the skillet.
-
Slice your King’s Hawaiian rolls in half and put the bottom of the rolls in a greased baking dish or on a sheet pan. *Pro tip, if you keep your knuckles on the cutting board as you cut your rolls will be cut evenly!
-
Add a layer of white American cheese to the bottom buns.
-
Add the ground beef and onion mixture on top of the cheese.
-
Drizzle some thousand island dressing or burger sauce over the top of the beef before adding another layer of cheese.
-
Add on the Colby Jack cheese and top with pickles. *The second layer of cheese is optional, but it does help hold the sliders together once the cheese has melted!
-
Put the tops of the slider rolls on and brush them with melted butter.
-
Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
-
Bake these at 350 for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is nice and melted!
-
Enjoy!
