Cabbage and Eggs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp butter or olive oil (a combination of both works well)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded and lightly packed
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. Add butter and/or olive oil to the pan, spreading it evenly.
  3. Add minced garlic and let it cook for about 20 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage, cooking for 3-5 minutes until softened. For a richer flavor, cook the cabbage until it begins to caramelize, which may take an extra minute or two.
  5. Spread the cabbage evenly across the pan.
  6. Pour in the beaten eggs, tilting the pan to distribute them evenly.
  7. Allow the eggs to cook for 15-20 seconds, then gently fold them over until fully cooked.
  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
