Decadent Vanilla Cupcakes Filled with Luscious Custard and Topped with Chocolate Ganache
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
2 large eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Custard Filling:
1 cup whole milk
3 egg yolks
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
