How To Make A Blue Velvet Cake?
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
The Cake: Mix together the cake ingredients and bake for 23 minutes. Cool before frosting.
Frosting: Combine the frosting ingredients tinting a portion of the frosting blue for decorating. Frost in between layers and on the outside of the cake.
Ganache: melt the chocolate and combine with the heavy cream over medium heat until smooth.
Decorating: Spread and drizzle the ganache around the top and sides of the frosted cake. Pipe blue tinted frosting on top.
Storing:
Cover the cake in an airtight container or cover in plastic wrap. Place into the fridge over night before cutting into slices.
