Baked Chicken Parmesan Meatballs with Marinara


2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper, to taste
For Baking:
1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Meatball Mixture:
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, beaten egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
Form the Meatballs:
Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the Meatballs:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Add Marinara and Cheese:
Remove the meatballs from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each meatball. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
